I love pansies, especially those with distinctive contrasting coloration. They look so friendly and cute. I have a few tiny bushes right in my front garden.
This little painting was a bit of a challenge. The veins and coloration kept me busy for a few days. It is not easy to paint on such small canvas. My small round brushes feel tired after this project.
The dark empty background looked quite unnatural around my beautiful pansy, so I decided to keep the original background.
